Building a Brewery 8: Finishing furniture and bar!
More building works before the opening…during the last week we focused on getting our internal furniture done, and finished up the bar! Of course, as we had time to waste, we decided to build the benches and tables for the inside by ourselves too! 😅 To be honest, we got some great help from our woodworker friend Sebastiano Pedrotti, and of course Gian, who has been supporting us during all these months of Building a Brewery. And a big thank you also goes to Andi Trütsch, who solved any issue we couldn’t get over since we met him, at the beginning of our builidng works.
Thanks to all of them, as we surely wouldn’t have been able to finish everything on time without their hard work!
What we couldn’t do on our own was the lighting, but after quite a search we found the ideal lamps for the Tankbierbar: some Italian, German and Polish industrial big beasts from the ‘60ies and ‘70ies. Our great electrician Dani is setting them up right now, and we’re sure they will make a huge impact. You’ll let us know!
Alright, back to work. We guess the next post will be the last before the opening…fingers crossed! 🤞
